The clubhouse is situated on the banks of the Upper Corrib and is an
old factory, now owned by NUI, Galway. The clubhouse really is the
centre of life with the Club. All the trips start from here, whether they are
take a day or a weekend.

How do I get there?
Leave the college heading for town until
you reach the cathedral. Opposite the cathedral (on the same side as
the college) are two lanes which lead down to the Europa Bicycle Hire
centre. Go down
the lane on the right and proceed until you see a green metal sliding
door on your left saying "Corrib Canoe Courses". Once you have done
this open the door and say hello YOU HAVE FOUND US!!
If you have any problems get in contact with a committee
member.
Where is it?
The Kayak Club is located at the Fisheries Field.
Club members who are on the safety list can get a key for the Clubhouse
in the Security Office. Anyone who wishes to be on the safety
list must first pass a Level 2 course which is run each year (very easy to pass). You'll have
to hand in your college ID in return. Whoever's ID is in the Security Office is
ultimately responsible for the key !! Remember to keep it tidy and to
put stuff back where it belongs. Security is a big concern so mind the
lock and key!
